Early experimentations into textile sensors from the first 2 weeks of Senior I. Students were assigned to choose a word, then to explore its implications through process studies and drawings to guide future work. I chose the word "responsive," and explored how textiles can respond to various modes of human tactile input and ideated ways for textile sensors to be used in assistive apparel.
Below is a selection of the work generated during these 2 weeks.
